Sometime in 2010 we had the slightly silly idea of using cheeky pictures from a few decades ago and putting them on dinner plates. And so, having done lots of research, talked to lots of people and received loads of positive feedback, we wondered if it really was so silly after all and Dirty Dishes was born.
Our dinner plates are 10" coupe plates and the images used on them have never been used for anything like this before. In fact at the time of writing we don't think that anyone's done anything like this before! All the plates are made on a limited run and there will, we hope, be lots more designs to come in the future. For now, the 6 designs currently available on the site are some of best (we've held some crackers back for the future too..)
You can eat off your plate, stand it on your mantlepiece, hang it on your wall - or whatever takes your fancy (you don't have to tell us if you don't want to!). We think our plates are pretty great and make excellent presents for yourself or someone else! We hope that you agree with us.
